ABOUT RAE BIRD

​

Rae Bird is a 500hr qualified yoga teacher, with training in the Chinese Medicine movement practice

Qi Gong, the Indian medicine system Ayurveda, breath work, and varied forms of meditation.

​

Rae is passionate about using these modalities in a practical and informed way, to encourage a

reconnection with the self, to find balance, re-create good health, renewed vigour and a sense of calm

for 21st-century living.

​

She offers movement and breath work classes, and short courses for groups, 1:1s, businesses and retreats.

​​

Rae is the dedicated movement and breath practitioner for You Nutrition Clinic (younutritionclinic.com).

This UK based tele-health clinic specialises in personalised nutritional medicine for those with

neurodegenerative chronic illnesses including ALS/MND, Parkinson's and Dementia.

Rae delivers sessions on behalf of Unity Retreats - unique day and weekend retreats that offer a blend

of movement and breath, singing and art in Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk.

​An important part of Rae's work are her voluntary sessions as a movement and

breath practitioner for young people with Down's Syndrome. 

​​​​

Rae loves to spend as much time connecting with nature as possible. As an ex-horticultural journalist

and book publisher, she loves to write. She also loves to sing! Rae is an avid student, constantly

learning from multiple and varied resources including experts in their field, but her most profound

learnings often come from working with her valued clients.
